Chapter 566 - 366 Interstellar Spaceship

Chapter 566: Chapter 366 Interstellar Spaceship"Blackmail me?" Zhao Manying’s face showed contemplation.

"Your father discovered a place..." Ji Daosheng had just communicated telepathically with the two people and had come to know the specific situation. He also hacked into Shi Renzhong’s mind, synthesizing the information, and became the person who knew the most.

He paused, then said, "That place is actually an interstellar spaceship."

Ji Xinghuo’s eyes widened.

Zhao Manying was also taken aback, she knew her father had left her a set of coordinates, but she had never visited it.

"An actual spaceship?"

"Correct," said Ji Daosheng. "Shi Renzhong had only come into contact with these secrets in the past few months. Shi Hongyi had deployed a large number of people over these years, and he had invested his own time and energy in

Because that was unrealistic.

There was no evidence of Shi Hongyi breaking the law, and as the Leader who had created this nation, always stressing equality before the law to the people, he couldn’t undermine the legal foundation and destroy the order he had built with his own hands.

In this country, many could act recklessly, especially some powerful mutants; they only had to face the consequences afterward.

But the Leader couldn’t.

Besides, Shi Hongyi wasn’t an ordinary person, as the Heavenly King and the nation’s wealthiest man, his influence was too significant.

The fact that the Leader had personally confirmed Shi Hongyi’s conspiracies was already the greatest help. Backed by the most powerful support, any future move by Shi Hongyi would be watched by official forces, preventing him from acting with impunity.

However, ultimately, revenge would still depend on oneself!

"Xinghuo, you also should not enter the Star Realm anytime soon. The people targeting you are not limited to just Shi Hongyi—and there are others much more difficult to deal with than him," Ji Daosheng warned. "You were right not to go to the Asuncion Star Gate."

Ji Xinghuo felt a chill in his heart, "I understand."

"You should head back," said Ji Daosheng, waving his hand. "Watch out for your own safety and consult with me if there’s anything; don’t act impulsively."

The two got up and left.

Once back in the magnetic levitation car, Zhao Manying said, "Let’s go to my mother’s house."

The car raced along the superconductive highway, and neither of them spoke. Zhao Manying stared out the window, her gaze slightly distracted.

Ji Xinghuo didn’t disturb her thoughts, his electromagnetic induction scanning their surroundings at all times.

Moments later.

The magnetic levitation car entered the parking lot; they were at Zhuo Yanran’s residence. Ji Xinghuo’s electromagnetic induction found her location; she was alone at home, very safe. He got out of the car with Zhao Manying, but then suddenly stopped.

Ji Xinghuo looked toward a car nearby, where a man was sitting in the driver’s seat.

The man was in his thirties, nondescript in appearance.

After seeing Ji Xinghuo and Zhao Manying, he too got out of the car, walking over with an expressionless face, and opened his palm towards Zhao Manying, revealing a bloody severed finger.

Zhao Manying’s face changed.

Ji Xinghuo also stared at the man, who was a Super Mutant, not very strong, and didn’t have anything hidden on him.

"You have 12 hours to set off for the Xuye Territory in the True Dragon Dynasty, or else you will bear the consequences."

After delivering his message, the man threw the finger toward them.

Bang!

Before Ji Xinghuo could react, the man’s body exploded into a large cloud of blood mist which immediately flared up in intense flames, burning to nothing but a few ashes in the blink of an eye, the only proof that someone had been there.

"A clone avatar," Ji Xinghuo said in a deep voice.

He was familiar with this tactic—delivering a message without leaving any trace.

Zhao Manying telekinetically pulled the finger closer and examined it for a few seconds, "This is indeed Cangming’s finger."

Her voice held no fluctuation.

However, Ji Xinghuo could hear the towering rage in it; he had never seen Manying so angry.

"I’ll report to the Leader."

Ji Xinghuo made a call, telling Ji Daosheng what had happened and kept his eyes on Zhao Manying. Unexpectedly, before he had even finished the call, Zhao Manying had already regained her composure and put the finger away.

"Tell the Leader, I won’t go to the True Dragon Dynasty," Zhao Manying stated.

Ji Xinghuo nodded.

The two went upstairs and met Zhuo Yanran, who anxiously asked, "Manying, what’s the situation? I saw on the news that there was a conflict with Shi Hongyi, is it related to Cangming’s disappearance?"

"That was a misunderstanding," Zhao Manying shook her head.

Her face showed no signs as she explained, "I’ve already reported to the police. The Security Department believes that Cangming was afraid you wouldn’t agree to let him go to the Star Realm, so he went with friends through the Asuncion Star Gate."

"This damn kid has never been obedient!"

Zhuo Yanran cursed, then became worried again, "Oh, he’s just an Intermediate Mutant; if something happens to him in the Star Realm..."

"Cangming isn’t a child anymore. Since he had the courage to go to the Star Realm, then he had his plans. We don’t need to worry too much, and once he’s had his fill of adventure, he will naturally return to Earth," Zhao Manying comforted her mother.

Ji Xinghuo stayed silent.

He knew Zhao Manying didn’t want Zhuo Yanran to worry unduly; revealing the truth when, as a mother, Zhuo Yanran couldn’t solve the problem would only add to her sorrow.
