Chapter 154 Amnesia
Chapter 154 Amnesia
Jiang Yu opened her eyes, feeling excruciating pain in her body. It seemed that the terrifying underwater whirlpool had truly tormented and tormented her.
She rubbed her head and sat up, then was horrified to find herself underwater. The reason she, as a human, could breathe underwater was because she was completely encased in a giant bubble.
She tentatively touched the bubble and found it to be quite sturdy, unlikely to burst easily. Relieved, she realized the large bubble seemed to be both sustaining her breathing and helping her withstand the pressure of the deep sea. If the bubble had burst, she would surely have drowned and been crushed in the depths.
She cautiously looked around and discovered that this place resembled an ancient ruin, with damaged palaces and temples, as well as parks and other buildings. The overall architectural style was European, resembling a lost empire. The dilapidated and broken statues reminded her of the legendary Atlantis.
God, could she be the chosen one from legend? By a twist of fate, she ventures to explore a mysterious, lost ancient civilization.
She was sitting on a round platform, like a bed, covered with soft seaweed. She was sitting in bubbles, like an egg placed in a nest of seaweed.
This round bed is in the very center of a palace, yet it doesn't look like a bedroom. The cylindrical building is empty and desolate, with nothing but this bed-like platform in the middle. There is only a ring of openwork columns around it, without walls. It looks like a pavilion or an ancient temple from Greek mythology.
Half of the palace roof is damaged, and the deep blue sea can be seen above it.
Jiang Yu found it strange that the sea surface could not be seen at all. Logically, it should be the deep sea, especially since these buildings must have been built on the seabed. However, the seabed here was very bright and clear.
And there were no fish.
She saw no trace of fish activity, and none of the jellyfish or other strange-looking sea creatures she recognized. Apart from corals, seaweed, and anemones standing and swaying on the seabed, this area resembled a dead sea.
A clear and bright Dead Sea.
This is completely different from her understanding. The oceans on Earth rely on sunlight, and the deep sea, where sunlight cannot reach, must be pitch black. But even in the darkest depths, there is life.
Then she belatedly realized that Chen Xin had been swept into that strange vortex along with her. Now, why was she the only one here? Where did Chen Xin go? Was she swept to a different sea area? Or was Chen Xin rescued and only she was transported to another place?
These guesses are meaningless; we need to figure out our own situation first.
She thought for a moment, then tentatively moved her body, stretching out her foot to get off the bed. To her surprise, Bubble followed her movement, which reassured her slightly. She then lifted her dirty dress and prepared to get off.
"...?" A dirty dress? Where did this dirty dress come from? She was clearly wearing a bikini! Jiang Yu stared at her pale pink dress, which was obviously wrinkled and dirty, and froze on the spot.
Did she time travel?
Jiang Yu hesitated and raised her hand to touch her face. No matter how she looked at it, it was clearly her own face. She then pulled her long hair forward to take a look and was surprised to find that her hair had turned black and grown quite a bit.
This is so strange, this is really so strange.
As she was racking her brains in futile and wildly imaginative whims, the seawater around her suddenly rippled slightly, like a tiny wave spreading across calm water, and then a huge figure appeared out of thin air.
Jiang Yu felt the space around her change, and she was enveloped by a huge shadow. She sat on the edge of the bed and turned her head blankly, and then met three pairs of huge eyes.
Neither the number of eyes nor the inorganic luster of the substance is something that can be accepted with a calm mind.
"...!!!" Jiang Yu was so scared that she almost peed herself. She felt like her heart stopped beating and she was about to have a heart attack and faint.
So she lost her footing, her body swayed, and she and the bubble fell to the ground with a thud. Just as she was lamenting that her time was coming to an end, the bubble was much stronger than she had imagined. It bounced up and rolled away with a bouncy, soft motion.
Molinbia had actually been standing nearby the whole time. It only revealed itself when it saw Jiang Yu tentatively trying to move, and sure enough, it startled its little figure.
It was startled, and its tentacles instantly exploded into porcupine-like spikes as if it had been electrocuted. Then it frantically waved its tentacles to reach the bubble that was bouncing and rolling away.
Jiang Yu was tossed around in the round bubbles, bumping her head until she saw stars, until she was held in place by two huge tentacles, which ended her forced chattering.
Then she stared at the two enormous, purple, transparent, dreamlike yet terrifying tentacles, and the horrifying monster that resembled both a plant and an animal, completely speechless, suffering from extreme fear that rendered her aphasia.
She huddled in the bubble like a helpless frog, trembling with fear. Could someone tell her what monster movie this was supposed to be about?!
Molymbia could clearly sense Jiang Yu's fear of him, which made it somewhat disappointed. The history of its race could be traced back to when the gods were still alive, but now it was the only one left. Its bloodline power made all the creatures in the sea fear and flee from it. Even the former royal family of the sea, except for Triton who was relatively close to it, kept their distance from it.
It had always been lonely. Now that it finally had someone to keep it company, and even a pretty little person at that, it was quite fond of them.
Molinbia often felt unable to control her tentacles. The tentacles were eager to touch Jiang Yu and get close to her, but she was too small and delicate, and they were too big. They were afraid that they might accidentally break her.
After all, it's not like it's without a history of misconduct.
It carefully lifted the bubble with its tentacles and gently placed it back on the seaweed on the bed, soothingly stroking Jiang Yu's hair through the bubble.
Then it saw Jiang Yu's lips were chapped, and she spit out a small bubble, which looked like some kind of liquid and was crystal clear inside. This bubble with liquid was pushed directly into the large bubble surrounding Jiang Yu by Morinbia, all the way to Jiang Yu's lips.
Jiang Yu sat there, still shaken, her body trembling involuntarily as she looked at the sea monster's enormous body. However, she could sense that this terrifying creature did not seem to have any ill intentions towards her.
At least it probably didn't intend to eat her or kill her right away. This bubble and this seaweed bed might very well be the monster's doing.
"When you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head." Jiang Yu didn't want to test the monster's patience. Did it want her to drink the water in the bubble? She realized it was the monster's spit-out liquid and felt like she was about to vomit, but it was already in front of her. If she pushed it away, would the monster be angry?
She looked at the few tentacles that seemed to be swirling around her, swallowed hard, and tentatively cupped the small bubble in her hands.
The little bubble was icy cold, like a full water bomb, about the size of an orange when held in the hand. Seeing Jiang Yu pick up the water bubble, Morinbia narrowed her eyes with pleasure, her tentacles twitching involuntarily a few times.
Jiang Yu pondered the sea monster's emotions, made a firm decision, and pressed her lips to the bubble.
