Chapter 246 The Invincible Demon God in the Cage, Supreme Little Superman
Chapter 246 The Invincible Demon God in the Cage, Supreme Little Superman
Let's rewind to a few days ago.
This is the Eternal Rock, a magically protected alternate dimension that has been opened up, and also the headquarters of the Wizarding Council.
After the last member of the Wizarding Council, the old wizard "Shazam," passed on all his power to Billy, only the magic guardian Billy Batson was originally allowed to set foot here.
However, at this moment, because of the time difference that Batman was dealing with Green Lantern, Mite and his team successfully stole Shazam's power from Billy's father. Using this Thunder Shazam power, which originated from the same source as Billy, they finally managed to enter the place.
And this was the beginning of the conspiracy.
The two of them walked through the now-empty conference hall, using magic to open dozens of sealed or hidden passages. Then they entered a room where a huge portal appeared before them.
Dozens of thick iron chains, wrapped with golden lightning-shaped runes, completely sealed the door. The room was empty except for the door; thick dust covered everything. Only the low murmur of the meditation mite could be heard.
"The Wizarding Council sealed off the seven magical continents to allow them to monopolize the world's magic. They also cast an unbreakable sealing spell to prevent anyone from taking this magic back."
"Besides the two of us, there are also the Meditation Mites," Dr. Sivana said.
"With the knowledge of both of us, and without any wizards or warriors causing trouble."
“That’s right, Sivana. Now…” Mite interrupted, “no one can keep this door closed anymore.”
Dr. Sivana stretched out his hand, and strands of lightning coiled around his palm. It was the same power that Billy Batson possessed, the living power of lightning, the power of Shazam the Thunder, which came directly from the last member of the Wizarding Council, the old wizard Shazam.
This is the key to open the door.
Sivana began to recite in a low voice:
"Pattibus!"
The gold trim on the chain was gradually lit up, until the entire chain was ignited and glowed red-hot.
"Great, great, finally—"
Click!
"The gates to the monster land have opened—magic!!! So much magic!!! So much magic has leaked out just from the opening! It's all ours now!"
Then, Dr. Sivana and the Mite heard a voice:
"Are you here to release us?"
Dr. Sivana looked up and saw a strange wooden doll covered in spider webs standing at the front door.
"I am Puppet Exile No. 413, and I will lead you to the Eternal Cellar."
"Who is this guy, a ventriloquist?"
Dr. Sivana asked the meditation mite in a low voice.
"He was once a man, who fought against yesterday's heroes, and was cursed by the wizards of yesteryear," said the Mite of Meditation.
"The Eternal Cellar is where the Wizarding Council imprisons monsters that oppose them. It holds countless powerful monsters. However, the Eternal Cellar is also a transit station connecting to the multiverse prison. Wizards use this transit station to throw some monsters that they cannot seal into places they can never return to."
Meditation Mite explained, "Through the Eternal Vault, you can even connect to some terrifying monsters plastered on the Origin Wall."
The magic worm paused, then said, "Do you know what the Origin Wall is?"
"I've seen it in a magic book."
Dr. Sivana replied to him:
"The Origin Wall is the edge of the multiverse, the end of the world."
“That’s right,” said the Mite of Meditation. “So, if there are monsters that can only be imprisoned by pasting them on the Origin Wall, it can only mean that those monsters are definitely beyond our ability to deal with. Some of them are even terrifying beings that have escaped the timeline restart.”
"We don't consider ourselves good people, Sivana, but we would never release such a terrifying demon."
He said, "Let's go, we'll only take what we need."
They followed the directional puppet along the path behind the gate and soon arrived at a place that resembled the seaside, with only a small dock extending straight out into the sea, on which a wooden boat was moored.
At this moment, the world is like a dark night, with stars filling the sky.
Dr. Sivana looked up at the moon-like object in the sky, but he was certain it was not the real moon.
The moon seemed like some living thing, staring at him. He lowered his head, unable to look any longer.
"That ship will take you away," the doll said.
"Aren't you coming with us?" Dr. Sivana asked him.
"My job is just to guide the way, and besides, I'm made of wood and dare not go near the water."
"Alright." Dr. Sivana climbed onto the wooden boat along the small dock.
He looked at the pitch-black sea with some trepidation.
"Are there any dangerous things in the water?"
He asked.
"It's best not to fall in," the Mite replied.
They rowed their wooden canoes across the pitch-black sea.
The mite seemed somewhat excited.
"Those wizards thought they could just keep the monsters trapped and be done with it, but we will have our day of revenge. The land they painstakingly protected, the Earth, will eventually fall under my control, and I will completely possess the magic they monopolized, becoming the most powerful magical being!"
And this place, the Eternal Vault, the prison the Wizarding Council once used to hold those who opposed them, will be where I imprison those who oppose me after the great war!
Dr. Sivana rowed his canoe to the edge of the thorny island. He went ashore, climbed the stone steps, and at the top of the steps, a magnificent and menacing castle, steaming with deep red vapor, appeared before him.
"This is the Eternal Cellar. Open it, Shivana... open it!"
Squeak, squeak, squeak—
As the doors were flung open, Dr. Sivana slowly walked into the castle's hall.
"Who exactly is being imprisoned here?"
"If we don't count the monsters imprisoned here that connect to other dimensions," said Mite, "the prisoners here come from all corners of the seven magical continents, including this one."
"Let's go," he said. "We need to release them to serve as our fighting force."
hum! ! !
But at that moment, a violent tremor filled the entire stone fortress, as if some giant beast was desperately ramming against the iron gate of the cage.
"Hey—hey! I can hear you outside! You stupid little worm!"
A voice echoed throughout the space. Dr. Sivana turned his head and saw a small portal suddenly appear in the middle of the hall.
A voice roared incessantly within it:
"Don't think I don't know who you are!"
In that instant, Dr. Sivana instinctively met the gaze of the monster in the cage. Those scarlet eyes drained all the courage from his body in a flash.
He began to tremble all over, then took a step back, using all his strength to keep himself from collapsing to the ground.
"Whether you're from Venus or some desolate wasteland, it doesn't matter, I can still see you!!! Meditation Mite—let me out, let me out!"
"Who is in here?" Sivana asked in a low voice. "He's terrifying."
"A person we will not invite to join us; whose wishes are contrary to ours and have nothing to do with magic."
The mite explained in a low voice:
"He is the monster I mentioned before that was pasted on the Origin Wall."
"Let's go, Sivana," said the Mite. "Release the monsters we can control. Don't worry about this guy."
"Let me out! Meditation Mite! Let me out!"
Upon hearing this, the monster in the cage became even more irrational. It leaped and bounded wildly, roaring with all its might.
The light from the furnace in the Eternal Cellar shone through the cage opening and onto the monster's chest.
Dr. Sivana's heart stopped as he saw that on that smooth chest, there was an S-shaped scar that had been dug out by fingers.
"I'll show you how I deal with those Justice League bastards... I'll tear that smug smile off their stupid faces!"
"Stop looking at him, let's go, Shivana," said Mite.
They bypassed the cell and headed deep into the Eternal Cellar.
……
……
……
Let's turn back time to the present.
Chen Tao, who had already synchronized with the Bat Mage, was flipping through Billy's spellbook.
Before this, he was a complete magic idiot who knew nothing about magic. Even though he possessed the power of the metal spirit, he could only apply it in a rudimentary way. But the synchronization with the bat mage instantly transformed him into a seasoned mage who had been practicing magic for many years.
However, he still couldn't understand much of the contents of the magic books.
Chen Tao pursed his lips, and then silver particles flashed all over his body. The Bat-Gorilla Detective he had obtained when he killed Titano the Giant Ape during the Flash incident was also simultaneously transferred to his body.
"Hmm... Eh—! Oh! I see."
Chen Tao kept shaking his head as he looked at the magic book.
"Wonderful...wonderful...wonderful..."
"Batman, have you finished reading your book? I'm exhausted!"
Behind him, Barry Allen was running so fast on the cosmic treadmill that he became a blur, while the gorilla Grodd and the turtle man were running on the two machines next to him with blank expressions.
The static force and speed force created by the three of them were sucked into a strange-looking machine in front of them through a tube, and then connected to Batman, who was sitting there reading a spellbook, through another tube. The speed force continuously filled Batman's entire body.
This machine was previously used by the gorilla Grodd to create a Speed Force storm that engulfed the entire Central City, but now, after being slightly modified by Chen Tao, it has become a human power charger.
"Just hang in there, persistence is victory." Chen Tao casually brushed Barry off, then handed the magic book to Billy.
"This contains information about the Eternal Vault, the gateway to countless sealed monsters."
"Yes, and this door was breached a few days ago." Billy's face was grim. "I just checked it with magic as you requested, and someone did indeed secretly break the seal on that door!"
He said, "The book says it will be a very serious situation."
Chen Tao said, "It's alright. Although the book describes the danger of those monsters, it also records a spell that can send those sealed monsters back."
"Yes, I've seen this page. What's wrong?" Billy asked.
He then continued, "These spells that send monsters back are extremely demanding. They require powerful magic, and you also need to be close enough to the released monster to open the door and let it in. But in actual combat, monsters won't be foolish enough to wait for you to finish the spell before obediently walking through the door and returning to their cages."
"So, as long as these conditions are met and those monsters are successfully brought into the portal, no matter how powerful they are, they'll be trapped back inside, right?"
"?"
Billy was somewhat bewildered by the other party's eager expression.
"That's true, but what do you want to do, Batman?"
"Look, this book has a story about a guy called Superman Supreme. If we release him and let him fight Darkseid..."
"hiss……"
Billy gasped.
"You absolutely mustn't think like that!"
He quickly stopped Batman: "The book says those are all..."
"They're all incredibly terrifying monsters; no one could possibly control their actions. Okay, okay, you're right, I give up." Then he saw Batman spread his arms wide: "I really give up; I was just saying it casually."
Billy looked at him with some suspicion, but Batman quickly changed the subject.
He turned to the exhausted Flash and said, "You can stop now!"
As the cosmic treadmill stopped running, Barry Allen walked over, looking completely exhausted, and collapsed onto the table.
"Four hours! You read for four hours straight without stopping, and I've been recharging you for four hours straight. I'm exhausted!"
He looked up and checked the time.
"The Justice League's first meeting will officially begin in a few hours. You should stop causing trouble, Batman."
As he spoke, he yawned and complained loudly, "Is it all over? Can I go rest now? You're not going to surprise me again, are you?"
"nonsense!"
Then he heard Batman's voice.
"I need your help with something else. You come too, Billy."
"?"
The two of them looked at each other in bewilderment.
Soon they were led by Batman to a room not far away.
In the center of the room were a dozen or so chairs covered with strange bottles and jars.
The Flash, Barry Allen, immediately recognized what was inside those bottles and jars.
"Isn't this the chemical that caused the accident that turned me into The Flash?"
He quickly checked it over, then turned to look at Batman in disbelief.
"What do you want to do?"
"Try to replicate your accident and see if you can deepen your connection with the Speed Force."
Chen Tao smiled shyly: "I'll have to trouble you for help, Barry."
