Chapter 1249: I’m Very Sober Right Now
"Big brother’s wife doesn’t know how you know, does she?"
Thomas Fisher blurted out, leaving Ryan Taylor unsure how to respond. Seeing Ryan hesitate without answering, Thomas chuckled, "Haha! I knew you were just talking nonsense. Big brother’s wife would never tell you the truth."
He used his other hand to push away his second brother who was blocking him and leaned forward to look at his eldest brother who was sitting steadily in his seat, "Big brother! Am I right?"
His drunken eyes looked at his eldest brother, waiting for his response.
Easton Holmes didn’t immediately respond to Thomas Fisher’s questioning. He slowly stood up from his seat, walked around to Thomas Fisher.
"You shouldn’t drink anymore; drinking does you no good, and she doesn’t like drinking." His tone and demeanor had become much calmer than before, his expression more relaxed.
"Big brother! I promise I won’t drink anymore. Now tell me, where exactly did Alice go?" Thomas Fisher tried to shake off the hand holding him, but after struggling for a long time without success, he could only turn his head to look at the approaching Easton Holmes.
Easton Holmes originally only wanted to provoke Thomas Fisher’s nerves, dulled by alcohol, but did not expect it to go too far. As Thomas repeatedly questioned Alice Turner’s whereabouts, he felt quite helpless.
"When did I say I knew where she went?" He knew very well he hadn’t said that, was this kid trying to swindle him?
"You just said it." Thomas blurted out.
Well! This kid really was trying to swindle him.
Easton Holmes sighed, leaned closer to Thomas Fisher, and slowed his speech, "What I said earlier was even if I knew, I wouldn’t tell you, you little punk! Drink some water and sober up."
With that, he picked up a glass of water from the table and handed it to the heavily intoxicated person.
"I’m very sober right now, not confused at all." Thomas Fisher pushed away the glass Easton Holmes handed to him. In his haste, the water spilled out, and the water dripped down Easton’s hand onto the floor.
Easton Holmes glanced at the half-empty glass and then at Thomas Fisher’s hazy eyes, he placed the glass back on the table, "If you won’t drink, then go home."
He pulled out a few tissues from the box on the table and wiped the water off his hand.
"I’m not going home, I want to find her." Thomas Fisher grabbed Easton Holmes’s sleeve and shook it hard, "Big brother! Just tell me, where did she go?"
As he spoke, he kept shaking his elder brother’s arm with force.
"I..."
Just as Easton Holmes was about to say something more, Ryan Taylor suddenly raised his other hand and chopped Thomas Fisher into sleep, "I’ll take him home. You and Benjamin should head back too."
Ryan turned around, carried the unconscious Thomas Fisher on his back, looked briefly at Easton Holmes and Benjamin Shaw, and then left the private room carrying Thomas.
Easton Holmes kept staring in the direction his two good friends left. Only after they exited the room did he retract his gaze and turn to look at Benjamin Shaw who hadn’t said a word the entire time.
Benjamin Shaw was staring at the glass on the table, lost in thought. Sensing Easton Holmes’s gaze, he looked up at Easton across the table, and their eyes met.
"Easton! Can we talk?" After a moment of eye contact, Benjamin was the first to speak up.
