As Link caused the delay in their attacks, Rio's light spears passed right through and pierced the armor of the undead without any resistance!

As the spears made of light elementals pierced the undead, they immediately blew apart and caused a powerful explosion from inside out, which scattered light elementals everywhere in their bodies.

At Rio's words, Link suddenly remembered that oversized demon and said,

"Oh, I also met a demon that was able to talk... but it was surprisingly weaker for an actual S ranker... Now that I think about it, that's indeed strange..."

Link was so focused on worrying about Riya at that time that he doesn't even remember how badly he beat up that demon and threw him away like garbage at the end of the battle.

Link wasn't going to be left behind either; although he was a step slower than Rio, he didn't give up either.

Lia landed on the ground, and Rio immediately sheathed his sword. Link, on the other hand, immediately rushed to her side to check Riya's condition.

Seeing the concerned look on Link's face, Lia put Riya down and made her sit with the support of a fallen boulder nearby.

"She's fine... I think she fainted due to excessive mental stress... She was likely using her skills a bit too much; it will take her a few minutes to recover..."

Rio also walked over to the side and sat down on a nearby boulder. He glanced at Lia and asked in his usual emotionless tone,

Hearing Rio's words, Kai immediately appeared and glared at him fiercely.

It's been a while since Kai joined the group, and Rio isn't as jealous of him anymore.
