Never win

Never win

"Can Lynn's team handle it?" She couldn't help but whisper to Hans, the technical team leader sitting next to her.

Hans stared at the screen, his expression calm, "This is not the first time Lynn has done this. He has the ability, but..." He paused and glanced at Kate, "The Holy Blood Alliance is not an ordinary target. This is a direct involvement of their core figures, and this kind of action usually comes with some kind of devastating backhand."

Kate bit her lip, clenched her fists tightly, but didn't dare to leave the screen for a moment.

Lynn successfully sneaked into the periphery of the warehouse, and Hans's intelligence was accurate. The security here is extremely tight, and the patrol route is designed seamlessly. Lynn leaned against an iron frame and quickly analyzed the next route of action.

The voice of the team member came from the headset: "The patrol on the east side has been cleared, we can move forward."

Lynn nodded and whispered: "Move, keep silent. Confirm the goods first."

He looked up at the large warehouse not far away, where the target was. The iron door of the warehouse was half open, and a faint light shone through it. Several workers could be seen loading and unloading some huge boxes. Lynn quickly scanned the logo on the box with a telescope, frowning.

"Hans, can you find the numbers on these boxes?" Lynn asked in a low voice.

Hans responded quickly: "I'm already checking. Wait a minute - these numbers belong to a company called 'Trian Logistics', but this company is a shell and has almost no real business."

"Typical disguise." Lynn whispered, his eyes sharper, "The things in these boxes are most likely related to the experiments of the Holy Blood Alliance."

He was about to get closer, and suddenly, a fierce quarrel came from inside the warehouse.

"You are stalling for time!" A man's voice shouted angrily.

Lynn's eyes condensed, and he quickly adjusted the frequency of the headphones and used the equipment to capture the conversation in the warehouse.

"Caleb," another voice was obviously calmer, but with a hint of impatience, "these goods need to be carefully checked to ensure that there will be no problems during transportation."

"Check? We don't have time to check!" The angry voice continued, "Do you know how critical this operation is? If these things are not delivered on time, the plan of the Holy Blood Alliance will be completely disrupted. And the FBI has already targeted us-"

"So we can't make any mistakes." The calm voice interrupted coldly, "Your job is to protect the goods, and the rest is not your business."

Lin En's brows were frowning more and more. His intuition told him that the angry voice was Caleb, and the calm voice was probably the person in charge of the experiment-a scientist, or someone at a higher level.

He whispered into the headset: "I heard Caleb. The goods are very important. This may be the core of their entire plan. The action must be accelerated."

"Received." The team members responded in a low voice.

Lin En made a gesture, indicating that the team members should disperse. He went around to the other side of the warehouse and approached the control center inside.

In the warehouse, Caleb's face was so gloomy that it seemed like water was about to drip out. He was wearing a black tactical jacket, with a fierce look in his eyes and a pistol in his hand, pacing back and forth. Several fully armed mercenaries stood beside him, while on the other side, a middle-aged man in a white lab coat looked more calm.

"Don't let me repeat it again." Caleb whispered, with murderous intent in his voice, "These goods must leave on time."

"Then let your men move faster." The man in the lab coat replied coldly, "My work is done, now it's your turn."

Caleb wanted to say something, but suddenly, a low warning came from his headset: "There is movement, it seems that someone is outside."

His expression changed immediately, and he raised his head suddenly, his eyes swept towards the door of the warehouse like a hawk. His men quickly went on alert, and all the muzzles of their guns were aimed at the entrance of the warehouse.

Lin En stood outside the door and took a deep breath. He knew that the battle was about to begin.

"All units, take your positions." Lin En ordered in a low voice, his voice calm and deadly.

The door was kicked open, and gunshots suddenly rang out in the warehouse. Lynn rushed in first, firing two bullets accurately from his gun, instantly killing the two guards.

"Go!" he yelled, and the FBI team behind him followed immediately.

Bullets whizzed through the warehouse, and Lynn's movements were so fast that people couldn't catch them. He shot while approaching Caleb. Caleb was not to be outdone, raised his gun and fought back, shouting: "Protect the goods! Don't let them succeed!"

A melee broke out in the warehouse, and the air was filled with the smell of gunpowder.

The night air was filled with a strong smell of gunpowder and a tense atmosphere. The gunshots in the warehouse gradually subsided, and the FBI agents were cleaning up the scene one by one. The cargo boxes were opened, and rows of transparent containers filled with unknown liquids came into view, and the boxes were also mixed with complex documents and equipment.

But Lynn didn't have the heart to look at those things. He stood at the door of the warehouse, his eyes as sharp as a falcon, staring at the black SUV that was moving away quickly at the other end of the dock. Hans' voice came from his headset: "Lynn, the target vehicle has been confirmed, and Caleb is in the car. He brought two guards and is trying to escape from the port."

"Keep an eye on him." Lin En replied coldly, and quickly turned and ran to the FBI vehicle parked outside. He opened the door, stepped on the accelerator, and the black SUV rushed out like a beast.

"Hans, call up the surrounding traffic surveillance." Lin En gave orders through the headset while driving, "We must block his escape route. How many exits are there in Brooklyn? I want real-time updates."

"Calling up." Hans' voice was busy, but always calm. "There are two main exits in the north of Brooklyn, and there is an old port road in the south that leads to the highway. I have notified two teams to intercept."

"Too slow." Lin En said coldly, his eyes fixed on the target in the distance, "He is buying time and may have arranged a response. We can't give him a chance."

On the street ahead, Caleb's SUV was frantically shuttling through the narrow port lanes. He sat in the back seat, his face was livid, and his eyes were dangerous.

"Get rid of them!" He growled at the guard in the driver's seat, with a sense of oppression in his voice.

"I'm trying my best!" The guard looked back, his forehead full of sweat. The FBI SUV was closely following their car, and Lynn's driving skills obviously put them under great pressure.

Caleb clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, "These bastards already know too much. If I get caught, you know what will happen."

Another guard in the front seat whispered, "Do you want to activate the 'emergency plan'?"

Caleb stared at the rearview mirror coldly, was silent for a moment, and then nodded, "Start it. But move quickly, I don't want to die in the hands of these agents."

The guard nodded, opened a metal box, and took out a small remote control from it. He quickly pressed the button, then opened the window and threw a metal can filled with an unknown liquid out of the car.

The metal can drew an arc in the air and then exploded with a bang. A cloud of white smoke immediately spread and instantly enveloped the entire alley.

Lynn's SUV braked to a stop, and the air filtration system in the car automatically turned on, but the view outside the window was completely blocked. He gritted his teeth and cursed in a low voice, then quickly turned around and went around from another alley.

"Hans!" Lin En shouted in a low voice, his tone cold, "They are using smoke to cover and trying to get rid of us. I need positioning support."

"We saw it." Hans responded quickly, "They are fleeing to the south of Laogang Road. This road leads to an abandoned highway, but there is also a small dock nearby - if they plan to evacuate by sea, they may be there."

Lin En's fingers tapped the steering wheel lightly, and a cold light flashed in his eyes, "Dock. Send support, but let me get there first."

"Understood." Hans' voice was firm.

After rushing out of the thick smoke, the black SUV quickly drove to the south of the port. Their target was a small dock hidden deep in the abandoned dock, where the ships had long been secretly controlled by the Holy Blood Alliance. As long as he got on that ship, Caleb could escape smoothly.

"Hurry up!" Caleb roared in a low voice, his fingers constantly tapping the armrests of the seat.

The guard in the driver's seat held the steering wheel tightly with both hands, and cold sweat oozed from his forehead, "We are almost there, hold on for another minute--"

Before he finished speaking, dazzling car lights suddenly lit up at the end of the alley in the distance. It was Lynn's SUV, and he caught up with it at an incredible speed, like a cheetah biting its prey.

"Damn it, how did he get around?!" The guard cursed and turned the steering wheel sharply, trying to get rid of Lynn.

Lynn's mouth curled up a sneer, he stepped on the accelerator, the SUV let out a low roar, and slammed into the back of Caleb's SUV. The two cars collided violently in the alley, making a harsh sound of metal friction.

Caleb was shocked and threw himself forward, he gritted his teeth, "Shoot! Don't let him catch up!"

The guard sitting in the co-pilot immediately raised an automatic pistol, leaned out of the window, and fired at Lynn's SUV. The bullet hit the windshield of Lynn's car, but the special bulletproof glass only had a few cracks.

Lynn's expression did not fluctuate at all. He grabbed the pistol on the passenger seat, quickly opened the car window, and fired two accurate shots. The first shot hit the guard's shoulder, and the second shot directly knocked the weapon out of his hand.

The guard screamed in pain and retreated into the car, his face pale, and blood gushed from his fingers.

"Idiot!" Caleb roared, snatching the guard's gun, "I'll do it!"

He leaned out of the window, pointed the gun at Lynn's SUV, and pulled the trigger coldly. The bullet whizzed past in the night, but Lynn had already predicted this action, and slammed the steering wheel, moving the car sideways to avoid the shooting.

At this moment, the two cars had already driven into the open space near the dock. Lynn stepped on the brakes, and the SUV stopped with a harsh tire friction sound. He quickly turned over and got out of the car, aiming the gun in his hand at Caleb's SUV.

"Don't move!" Lin En growled, his voice seemed to penetrate the air directly.

But Caleb didn't stop, but jumped out of the car and ran towards the dock. He was very fast, holding a gun in his hand, and fired at Lin En while running.

Lin En chased him without hesitation, his steps were steady and powerful, and every step accurately shortened the distance between the two.

"Caleb!" Lin En growled, "You can't run away!"

Caleb turned around and sneered, suddenly stopped, raised his gun and pointed it at Lin En, "You can try and see who is faster!"

Lynn did not hesitate and pulled the trigger directly. The bullet flew past Caleb's arm. Caleb's gun fell to the ground. He groaned, covered his bleeding arm, and knelt on the ground.

Lynn rushed forward quickly, kicked Caleb's gun away, pressed him to the ground, and handcuffed him with a "click".

"The game is over." Lynn whispered, his eyes as cold as ice, "Now it's your turn to speak."

Caleb panted, his eyes full of anger and unwillingness, "Do you think you can stop everything by catching me? You can't change anything. The plan of the Holy Blood Alliance has begun-"

"Then you'd better pray that we can find the answer as soon as possible." Lynn pulled him up from the ground and said coldly, "Otherwise, you will be the first to pay the price."

At the same time, the FBI reinforcement team arrived and blocked the entire dock. Lynn handed Caleb to Hans, and his expression was still grim.

In the meeting room of the FBI headquarters at night, the atmosphere was so heavy that it was difficult to breathe. Lin En stood by the table, his hands resting on the tabletop, his eyes grim. The chilling phone call just now still echoed in his ears. Although the call had ended, the other party's words were deeply embedded in his mind like a knife.

"We know you have captured Caleb. He is very important to us, and we know that you are the same to your colleagues." The voice on the other end of the phone was low, slow, and trembling with threats, "We have one of your people. If you want him to live, return Caleb to us."

Lin En did not respond immediately, but clenched his fists.

"I will give you 24 hours to think about it. If there is no answer, your colleagues will pay the price for it." The person on the other end of the phone did not wait for Lin En's response and hung up directly.

Lin En looked down at the table, the muscles on his face were so tight that they seemed to explode at any time. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

"Who is it?" Hans stood beside him, his face equally solemn, "Who did the Holy Blood Alliance capture?"

"Johnson." Lin En raised his head, his eyes as cold as frozen sea water, "He was in charge of the peripheral surveillance mission yesterday. Obviously, they had a plan long ago."

"Damn it." Hans cursed in a low voice, "Johnson is a good man. He has a family, two children..."

Lynn did not respond, his eyes swept across the documents and maps on the table, his mind working rapidly. He knew that this was the Holy Blood Alliance testing, but the problem was that in this game, he could not make any wrong moves.

Kate sat in the corner, her hands clenched into fists, her face was pale, but her eyes were unusually firm. "Lynn, they captured Johnson, which means they know we are approaching. This is their defensive counterattack."

"This is not just a counterattack." Lynn said coldly, "This is a threat, a means of controlling the situation. They know we need Caleb, and they know we won't easily sacrifice our colleagues."

"So what are you going to do?" Kate looked at him directly, with a hint of anger in her voice, "You don't really consider handing Caleb over?"

"I can't." Lynn's answer was decisive and cold. He turned and stared at Kate, without a trace of compromise in his eyes, "Caleb is our only key to the core of the Holy Blood Alliance. If we let him go, we will lose everything - including the opportunity to approach the Holy Blood Alliance."

"What about Johnson?" Kate asked back, her voice was not loud, but with a questioning that was hard to ignore, "Are you going to give up on him? Let him sacrifice for this operation?"

Lynn's expression did not change, but his eyes flickered slightly. "I won't give up on anyone." His voice was low but powerful, "but I won't let the Holy Blood Alliance control this game. This matter must be done my way."

Hans sighed, walked aside, and whispered to the communicator, "Immediately lock Johnson's last signal location and mobilize all available surveillance and satellite images. We must find him."

Lynn glanced at Hans, then picked up the intercom on the table, "Notify all teams that we may face the worst situation within 24 hours. Caleb must stay here. The intelligence he has is more important than anyone else, but we must also ensure that Johnson can come back alive."

At the same time, in the hidden basement of the Holy Blood Alliance, in a dim basement, Johnson was tied to a metal chair. There were several bloodstains on his face and blood was oozing from the corners of his mouth, but his eyes were still stubborn.

In front of him, a man in a black suit stood, holding a small electric shock device in his hand and a cruel smile on his lips.

"Will your friends come to save you?" The man whispered, with a playful contempt in his tone.

Johnson raised his head and forced a sarcastic smile, "What do you think?"

The black-clad man's face darkened. He took a step closer, pressed the stun gun on Johnson's arm, and suddenly turned on the switch. A sharp sound of electricity rang out, and Johnson's body twitched instantly, but he clenched his teeth and did not make any cry of pain.

"It's no good for you to be tough." The man took back the stun gun and sneered, "But it doesn't matter. We just need you to live until they agree to our conditions."

Johnson panted, endured the severe pain in his body, and said in a low voice: "You will never win."

The man snorted coldly and said nothing more. He turned and walked out of the room, leaving Johnson alone tied to the chair.

In the early hours of the morning, Lin En stood in the interrogation room, with Caleb sitting on the table in front of him. Although his hands were handcuffed behind his back on the chair, Caleb's expression remained calm, even with a hint of sarcasm in his smile.
